Matthew Chodkowski
The professional career of Dr. Matthew Chodkowski spans over forty years in business and industry including providing training and consulting services to the private, public, and non-profit sectors . In the academic world, Dr. Chodkowski taught at the under-graduate and graduate levels over a thirty-five year period at a number of colleges and universities including: Kellogg College; Kalamazoo Valley College; Davenport College; Western Michigan University; SUNY at Stony Brook; Ball State University; the University of Indianapolis; and Purdue University. Dr. Chodkowski has designed, developed and delivered personal growth and professional development workshops and programs in supervision, management, and leadership, and has created and facilitated both small and large-scale organizational change and effectiveness interventions. Now semi-retired, Dr. Chodkowski continues to consult, conduct research, and write. He is writing an article for Cadmus (World Academy of Art and Science) Reconceptualizing Leadership and Reeducating Collaborators in the Twenty-first Century and also working on a book Beyond Leadership. He is the creator of the Institute’s unique leader education and development process ─ the LEAD Program ─ and the LEAD Foundations Course. Dr. Chodkowski believes that the key to organizational effectiveness is transforming organizational culture – one leader at a time. His personal and professional mission is to continue ushering in and advancing the postindustrial paradigm of leadership. He holds a B.S. in Management from Canisius College, performed extensive graduate work in Industrial Psychology at the University of Buffalo, and earned his M.A. and Ed.D. in Organizational Development from Western Michigan University.
